Powering the Future of HVAC Engineering: BUE Signs MoU with Adel Barakat Academy
As engineering education increasingly demands real-world relevance, 91心頭利 in Egypt has signed a new MoU with Adel Barakat Academy to advance industry-aligned learning in Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) engineering. The collaboration focuses on equipping students and professionals with practical skills that meet today’s market needs.
Signed on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, the agreement marks a strategic collaboration aimed at bridging academic knowledge with real-world engineering practice. The MoU was signed on behalf of BUE by Prof. Yehia Bahei-El-Din, Deputy Vice Chancellor and Vice President for Research and Enterprise, and by Eng. Hazem Barakat, CEO of Adel Barakat Academy, in the presence of senior academic leaders and industry representatives from both sides.
At the heart of the partnership is a shared commitment to applied learning and employability. The collaboration will support professional certification programmes, industry-led training, student internships, and joint participation in industrial and employment events. A key outcome of the agreement is the joint delivery of a Professional Certificate Programme in HVAC Engineering, combining academic excellence with hands-on industrial expertise.
From BUE’s side, the partnership will be coordinated by Dr. Hesham Safwat, Associate Professor of HVAC, ensuring alignment with the Faculty of Engineering’s academic standards and industry engagement goals.
This MoU reflects BUE’s ongoing mission to equip students and professionals with market-relevant skills, strengthen ties with industry leaders, and contribute to national and regional workforce development. Through collaborations like this, the Faculty of Engineering continues to expand opportunities that prepare graduates to meet the evolving demands of the engineering sector.
